Pokemon in the Dragonball World CONFIRMED!!

And this isn't even Puar's final form!

Hi guys, it's the DB Analyst here. Applying real world logic (I think) in the Dragonball world. Coming off of our last post about the Spirit Bomb, it highlighted that everything and everyone has ki. And that includes the animals, right? Well...what if we had the animals to train and become stronger. It's so obvious now when you really think about it. Someone is bound to follow through on this idea and set in motion a never-ending saga of catching 'em all. Its simple, really. They only have to catch all 7 of the dragonballs and then wish that the animals can level up just like the humans do. And then we have...Pokemon. And here's how they did it.

BATTLES

All of this gym stuff sounds a whole lot like a bunch of tournaments to me. In Dragonball, tournaments are there to prove who is the strongest. And it's not even limited to humans – we had a dinosaur and a manwolf at one point! It's looking like those underground animal fights could be coming to the big stage for competition soon. Now – can you imagine a powered up pit bull ready to release his epic Bark Buster. In this world, the dog's bark is far worse than its bite. I mean, if the humans could conjure up Kamehamehas and Destructo Discs then anything is possible. Yikes! That's why you gotta have trainers to give the command because a stray could do some serious damage. And then there's also some guys who managed to jump 90 stories high or even learned to fly with the use of energy. So with that can easily come flying pigs too. There's hope for Oolong yet! And with quick, easy money on the line – you're bound to just walk into a bunch of battles on a typical day out and about.

POKEDEX

So you wanna know what you're going up against? Sounds very much like a scouter. Just tweak this thing to store all info on everyone you encounter and voila! We pretty much got stats on everyone already like a Dr. Gero (but way better) with the Dragonball fan wiki website. Great place to check out!

POKEBALL

They have capsules that literally open up into a fully operational home with running water, gas and electricity. Now, find a way to fit a living creature inside and your pokemon is living in pure luxury in there. Kinda like a genie in a bottle. And I'm guessing that these things are pretty expensive so maybe the tougher pokemon to catch just prefer high-end living. Maybe a regular pokeball is like a one bedroom bore. Who knows!

DIFFERENT TYPES OF POKEMON

Look around the Dragonball world. What a bunch of weird creatures we've seen! They have dinosaurs, dragons and whatever the heck Pilaf is. They even have their own Meowth...but his name is Korin and he carries a staff. So maybe a talking, walking-on-two-feet creature is likely though pretty rare in comparison to your everyday animal. It just so happen that Goku has great fortune in meeting up with these kinds of animals. It's a bit ironic though that his son only had a plain ol' Charizard he named Icarus. Oh well!

EVOLVE

If you take a page from these saiyans, why not! These creatures get stronger and they may need a new form to go along with it. They're animals not boring humans who always look the same. Wonder what a super saiyan tier Puar should really look like. Hmm.....

POKECENTERS

So someone whipped up a deal with Korin and got him to manipulate his senzu bean stash. However, it works differently on animals and may take some time but it's all the same thing. You are completely healed! And being not human probably means that they don't even need ONE whole senzu bean – maybe even a nibble. That's why the pokecenters are so plentiful. Perhaps this could have led to the creation of the multiple types of berries.

And there you have it! A full history breaking down how these amazing creatures came to be only in the twilight zone...I mean, the Dragonball world!
